We are living art…

Still life compositions, ready art pieces existing around our homes and in our spaces…all around us are reflections of our personality.. colours of our wants and textures of our desires..

I tend to cover my life with candy and butterfly memorabilia but that’s how i see life like a pretty phenomenon never wanting to accept that this life is about mundane unfulfilled roles and choices.. but instead its an adventure..giving life to words and hoping they live on… or last for longer than a flick of this page, but exist in our minds… it is a pleasure to glimpse pieces of art i have collected around me… art being; threads, my sewing machine, hanging pictures, ripped magazines stuck onto my drawing board, a shoe without laces, a small dress makers pin in my mannequin, books, my cd’s, a hair comb, glass of water, or nail vanish bottle…i could go on… but its all as it should be…. We are living art, we create it, share it, buy it and breathe it… xx

still life!!

i really need to see this film…..
Desert Flower is a book published in 1998, about the life of Waris Dirie, a crusader for socialre form in Somalia. This book embraces nomadic culture, and brings to life an amazing story about a young desert girl who raises up to be a highly esteemed fashion model.
The role of Waris is amazingly played by the fabulous Supermodel Liya Kebede, who after having gained wide success in the world of fashion and modeling, has transitioned successfully into the world of acting, with the starring role in this fantastic independent film, which is an adaptation of Waris Dirie’s bestselling autobiography.

Don’t you just love London transport…!!

I had a little moment in my thoughts……i am a born and bread East Londoner…useless but interesting fact; …if Walford East; the fictional underground train station (based in the soap Eastenders) existed it would be two stops from my home, replacing Bromley by bow!….hmmmm i love Eastenders even though it gets a bit depressing sometimes.  Tonight i saw a scene in Eastenders with this fictional train station…which promted me to find out where walford was…duhhhh yesss i know it dont exist but i still looked…. lol……my thoughts lead me too……

A website which spoke about the London’s underground history..speaking of ghost stations which were closed in the 1930’s suddenly i am intrigued…

check out these vintage posters found in the lost underground: here

Through flicking through Google images i found some more interesting pictures of tiled art and some pics related to the London underground..

i believe his could be an interesting project taking some pictures of the underground tiles/colours etc and sharing them on here…i will keep you informed about that fun adventure…might do the central line….or maybe a quieter less crowed line.. haahha xxx

Every now and then a musical spark of sound inspiration awakens my soul and stirs my imagination into full effect….The characters of this creation seem other to this world…..and they are called Little Dragon..

Little  Dragon are a swedish electronic band from Gothenburg. It consists of Yukimi Nagano (vocals, percussion) and her close high-school friends Erik Bodin (drums), Fredrick Källgren (bass), and Håkan Wirenstrand (keyboards)..

Wildsuga’s new collection is inspired by yukimi Nagano and because i am such a massive follower of their music i have dedicated this space to her and them.xx i love you little dragon xxxx

check out their website : Little Dragon and twitter: twittledragon

Here are just a few of my Favorite song’s by them: A new, Feather, Twice, Fortune

I kinda fancy myself as an an (inspiring macro random photographer) who loves close ups of images featuring colour and abstract compositions..one of my secret dreams (no longer a secret) is to eventually take pictures but purely for my own pleasures and explorations…something which i have been playing around with is Light painting, also known as light drawing or light graffiti. it is is a photographic technique in which exposures are made usually at night or in a darkened room by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera… here are some examples with my canon digital ixus 75 camera. i also photoshop edited two of them with a pink and blue effect.xxxenjoyxxx

Recently i have been preparing for my new website launch this month and its been a really exciting process, one of the most creative times of my life..:) so grateful. The new and first ever wildsuga film has now got some tailor made/special/magical music created especially for it by incredible soundscape music man Henry keen with vast expertise on sounds from the group soundspecies and working alongside with ideas and visions Film producer Kevin Imajemite from his company Freeborn productions… and me well i just get excited saying yes that sound and errrm that sound too.. ooohhwww i love them alllll….magic..(happy sarina.com)

milk of sorrow…

Directed by Claudia Llosa, Starring Magaly Solier (Fausta)

Fausta is suffering from a rare disease called the Milk of Sorrow, which is transmitted through the breast milk of pregnant women who were abused or raped during or soon after pregnancy.
